Liguian Air Virtual Airline is a non-profit association and is made up of virtual flight enthusiasts.

Starting from May 25, 2018, the new European Regulation no. 679/2016 ("GDPR") on the protection of personal data.

Ligurian Air will not provide personal data to third parties without the explicit consent of the person or persons involved.

When registering with the VA we ask for the following data:

• Name and surname: For the management of members of our VA. This is mandatory and without this information the registration will not be processed by our system.
• Valid Email Address: It is used to check whether the registration is made by a natural person and for exchanging messages relating to our virtual flight activity. A valid email address is required.
• Password: A password must always contain at least 6 characters and is stored encrypted in the Ligurian Air information system

We process the personal data (name, surname and e-mail address) provided at the time of the registration request to our virtual flight company for the sole purpose for which they were provided, i.e. relating to the hobby of virtual flight, and we do in accordance with the Implementing General Data Protection Regulation of May 25, 2018, generally known as GPDR.

The data is collected and stored for the following purposes:

• We use the name, surname and e-mail address to send direct messages only to subscribers and which are related to our virtual flight activity following your registration with Ligurian Air va.
• We do this only with the data that has been entered in the registration.
• The name, surname and e-mail address are required to send the acceptance e-mail or a rejection e-mail.
• By providing us with the information, you authorize the use of the data for the purposes indicated above.
• The personal data entered on the Ligurian Air website are always treated confidentially and not provided to third parties.

Personal data security

We have taken appropriate technical measures to protect personal data from loss or other forms of unlawful processing. These measures, including encryption using an SSL certificate, applying strong passwords and separate accounts based on "least privilege", ensure a level of security corresponding to the data being processed.

Who has access to the data you provide

Some active staff members mentioned on the website. This concerns the data provided at registration, except for the password which was stored encrypted and which is not visible to anyone.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file that is sent by our website and placed by the browser on the device where you visit our website. The information stored in the cookie may be sent back to our website when you visit the website again.

Retention period

The data will be kept until the end of the registration by the user or after the period of inactivity established by our regulation has been exceeded, after which they will be deleted.

Rights

It is always possible to withdraw consent to the processing of your data, after which they will be deleted from our systems. This immediately terminates the Ligurian Air membership.
The member can always change his password using the "Change password" button on his personal page.

Changes

• Ligurian Air reserves the right to change its privacy policy at any time.
• Ligurian Air has no registered office and no legal representative.
